The publisher Hanna Suni talks about two books about violence against women
On November 25th, for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, editor Hanna Suni presents two emblematic titles from Le Plurali’s catalogue: “Seven Necessary Sins” by Mona Eltahawy and “Mutineers” by Eve Cambreleng and Blanche Sabbah.
The event offers a powerful and accessible overview of the many forms of patriarchal violence—from physical abuse to cultural, symbolic, and systemic oppression. Through Eltahawy’s radical manifesto and the Mutineers’ practical guide to feminist disobedience, the meeting invites participants to reflect on how to recognize, name, and challenge gender-based violence in everyday life and in society.
