PLOT
Jean-Luc is a rich and selfish man, always focused on himself and attracted by money. One day, when he wakes up, a bitter discovery awaits him: two large feathered wings have sprouted on his back. However, despite them being quite bulky, he seems to be the only one capable of seeing them. Shocked, misunderstood and scared, he witnesses the collapse of his perfect life, piece by piece, to the point of thinking of putting an end to it. When he has no more hope he meets Tim, an eleven-year-old orphan boy, the first to notice and recognize his true nature. Together the two will build a friendship that will help Jean-Luc get back on his feet and discover the deceptions of his friend and colleague Scott. Between unexpected coincidences and sudden revelations, the short story ends with an unexpected ending, which leaves the reader with a touching sense of hope.
