Book Club meeting to discuss Sari Bashi's book, Maqluba: Love Upside-Down, published by Voland.
Recently, Sari Bashi was a guest at Blue Room for the only Roman presentation of her novel, Maqluba Upside-Down Love. It was a very intense and well-attended evening, where we learned about this compelling and autobiographical love story told by two voices, which challenged the tragic current situation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. These are the aspects that led the group to choose the book, and we hope that it will provide many and varied insights to inspire the discussion.
